Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Leveling

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
